Women`s Health Across the Lifespan

The (5) presentations from the pre-conference at the 2009 ACSM Health& Fitness Summit provide a broad perspective of women's healthacross the lifespan, with in-depth information about each age range.Initially, the DVD features a discussion of how vitamin D impactschildren and adolescent girls. Next, the DVD addresses common injuriesin the collegiate-level female athlete. Then, the DVD reviews the impactof childbearing issues related to public health, including pregnancy,labor/delivery, and aging. Finally, the DVD looks at how physicalactivity has a positive influence on the health of older women.
